Rosie O’Donnell will host a show this fall, but this time it will be on radio, Sirius XM radio Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sirius channel 102 and XM channel 155.
The deal came through after she appeared on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show earlier this year. People were surprised (I know that I was) when she appeared on his show. Rosie O’Donnell seems like the kind of person the shock-jock Howard Stern would make miserable (well, I know he used to.) The listening public’s response was very positive and why would it not be? Rosie O’Donnell is a scream!
Being the great Rosie O’Donnell, she’s looking into working a deal with Sirius XM Radio for a monthly discount for her loyal bloggers (of course you know, I’m one of them…you should be to: http://www.rosie.com )
Rosie O’ Donnell was not even interested in radio until she was invited to Howard Stern’s Show. Then Sirius XM Radio told her that she could do the show from her home – well, that sealed the deal. Rosie and her wife, Kelli O’Donnell, like to incorporate their children’s schedules around their work schedules (Kelli O’Donnell is co-founder of r family vacations along with Gregg Kaminsky http://www.rfamilyvacations.com/ .)

@Mary, Yes, a lot of us feel that way, but as this post states, there will be a price reduction for rosie-bloggers. again that’s http://www.rosie.com
Sirius XM Radio is not doing to well. There are a lot of out-of-work DJs there just filling up space. The automobile business is not doing to well in sales because of the recession. Cars with satelite radio are the biggest consumers of Sirius XM.
hopefully Rosie can bring in some business for them. If not, I think that satelite radio will be out of business in 3 years.

@Michael, That’s right. According to most reports, Satelite Radio is on a huge decline. Wired magazine said it will probably be online-based only in about two years. Not enough cars being bought to support the demand.

Oooh, another talk show, hopefully it’s as good and entertaining as her other one, actually, scratch that, I know it will be, she’s Rosie HAHAHAH Congrats to Rosie and hopefully I’ll be able to hear her show one day, which will hopefully be soon because I like Sirius!!! I think it’s worth it to pay for radio when there are no to very little commercials.

@Michael, You are too much, Mike.
Michael has informed me recently that I actually do know him. We were in Physics together in college. He is one of those genius people, but you can’t tell by looking at him. Sorry Mike, I mean you look like a dumb-jock (he’s very athletic and was all over NJCU in sports – volleyball, baseball, basketball, etc.)
Barbara is very interesting: She works real hard and takes care of herself. She helps out her sister(s) whenever she can, she’s attends college fulltime (A-B student), has a good heart, and is adored by the owner of this site.

@Bibi, I think you had it right the first time, now is correct (not know). No need to apologize, you are just one of these people that writes without thinking sometimes. You get mad and you become worse (trust me, my husband’s the same way.) I blame your Uncle – he use to have a feature that lets us “edit” what we write, but he took that feature away. Damn him!
ps: To be honest, I think alot of people think you’re cool on this site(except for Michael maybe – but he’s an ass.) Your replies are always great, except lately you’ve been crazy and confusing, that’s why it’s so noticable now. Like you’re writing just to write something w/ out thinking or having any knowledge on subjects at hand, but writing anyway. Happens once in awhile – you gotta see some of the stuff I’ve written. @Cynthia, I dont fall short of anything and anyone who knows me will tell you that. I think you need to just stop. Your statements are offensive. When you comment about me or what I write, you judge me as well as my character by calling me crazy or comparing me to your husband ect. @Mary, I don’t think I’ll get banned by asking for clarifcation of statements made by people (no matter who they are) who reply on here just to be “seen” and “heard”. Usually she’s on point, but lately? What is going on?
That comment about my husband? I said that because clinically there are people who just say random things (like my husband) and when asked about the senseless nonsense, they get upset and make even less sense. You know what I mean?
Again, I usually like her replies to these posts (I have said that), but lately (Walmart, Sirius XM Radio, “KNOW not now”, etc.,) What?????
Anyway, Mary, you’re right though, it’s boring me too. Sorry and sorry to Bibe too if she felt sooooo attacked (seriously?)

@David, Great idea!! I don’t want to start closing the “comments” because of a few people. It’s bad enough I’m already deleting comments and not approving them.
@Cynthia I took away that feature because when spammers took a sweep of my site, the spammers were able to write their agenda (ad sales mostly) by re-writing over existing comments.
