   The novel, Taboo Down the Bayou is not finished yet. I have CHAPTERS to go, but then comes the real work – the condensing (self-editing.) I also have to shop the book around for a publishing house. Maybe it’ll be an eBOOK.

   I’ll give a an excerpt every now and then.

   Hey, let’s start a book club!

   ooohh! a book club sounds awesome. i belonged to one years ago…of course it turned out to just drinking and sharing on best ever this or that ideas, but it was lots of fun!

   we totally should. the way we had done it a while ago was rotating homes and 1 book per month. but we could figure out the kinks along the way (everybody brings something, maybe keep it to the most convenient location for all, etc.)

   it’s really cool since we are all so busy i find it’s an easy avenue for sharing/receiving book knowledge you otherwise wouldn’t probably have had.

   let’s think about it.

   however, since book clubs generally meet but once a month, i think i could commit to that kind of timeline;-)

   bring it on! starting now–
   just finished ‘Push’ which is a true story and is slated to becomea movie (with Mariah, et. al.). it’s a hard read but short read.

   however, since, generally, book clubs are but once-a-month, i think i could commit to that kind of timeline!

   bring it on! starting now —
   just finished reading ‘Push’ by Sapphire. it is a short read, but very heavy topic…it’s a hard read and not for the faint of heart. there is a movie slated to come out in November (mariah is in it hope she does the character justice).
