Faisal Shahzad, 30, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. ET Monday at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, said Attorney General Eric Holder. He parked a car (with a bomb in it) in the heart of Times Square.

Authorities hunting for the suspect in the botched Times Square bombing dramatically beat the clock overnight, seizing a Pakistani-American citizen moments before he was set to begin a long trip to his strife-torn homeland.
“This was an act designed to kill innocent civilians and strike fear into the hearts of Americans and I’m happy to say that it failed on both counts. We will not be intimidated by those who hate the freedoms that make the city and this country so great.” - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The SUV was parked on Saturday night on a busy midtown Manhattan street near a theater showing “The Lion King.” The explosive device inside it had cheap-looking alarm clocks connected to a 16-ounce can filled with fireworks, which were apparently intended to detonate gas cans and set propane tanks afire in a chain reaction “to cause mayhem, to create casualties,” police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.
We still live in that world, America…please: DO NOT BE AFRAID (that’s what they want) BUT USE CAUTION!

Scary times indeed. Especially since I work in the Times Square area. In fact, the SUV was parked directly in front of our building.
STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

You were also “just leaving” WTC during 9/11 via train.
Which reminds me, are our life insurance policies up to date?
