LAW SCHOOL PREP

Preparing for Law School has been an eye-opening experience.
For instance, did you know that Law Schools are interested in only two things: Your undergrad GPA & your LSAT score. That is it. Most (if not all) do not even give interviews anymore nor read “personal statements.” The Law Schools are logged in to a site called LSAC.
LSAC is like the central hub where you and universities exchange information (GPAs, LSAT scores, etc.)
So, it does not matter that I busted my hump getting the top grades in my university (missing precious time with my family, saying no to social engagements, going to a movie) – no! I could have received a 3.5 (B Average) in “paper-plane-making” from ANYPLACE University, instead of Traditional Psychology (3.9) and go to Harvard, as long as my LSAT score was 170 or so (not easy to do) - WHAT?? That is crazy!!
I am not saying that you should take the easy road in your undergrad and just get a B average in any easy major. What I am saying is, make an informed decision if your goal is to go to Law School.
NOTE: Ask me how I am preparing for the LSATs – I am enrolled in the best prep-test course this side of the mason-dixie line!!

How are you preparing?
