I already made this recipe but I tweaked it to what I had at the time. I used whole wheat sliced bread, queso blanco, asparagus, and chorizo. Hmm Hmm Good!
@Lisa, Sounds very Mexican…next time, try corn tortillas instead of sliced bread, add some tomatillos* (not too much – the taste is strong and tangy) and really get Traditional.
*Tomatillos are native to Mexico and are available now at most grocery stores and Latin American stores. A tomatillo looks very much like a green tomato and is the main ingredient in “Salsa Verde.”
So easy to follow. Love the video and the host isnt bad on the eyes either !!!
